Should You Play

Our Work

Should You Play will primarily focus on two types of content: reviews and guides.

Our Reviews

Our reviews will tell you our thoughts on the latest games in a unique fashion, while answering a simple question: Should you play it? We’ll tell you in a straight-forward manner whether or not the reviewed game is meant for you. In addition, we’ll provide you a short list of similar games, so you can easily determine if the game suits your tastes.

Rather than scoring games and giving them a number rating, we’ll recommend games using gold, silver, and bronze stamps:

Bronze stamp of the Should You Play logo, which is a question mark-shaped joystick.
Bronze
  • Gold — You need to play it! These games are “must-plays” and a cut above the rest.
  • Silver You should play it! Try out these games if you like its similar games or enjoy the genre.
  • Bronze  You should play it if you love its similar games.

Reviews will be short and sweet, but if you’d like to get straight to the point, you can find our recommendation at the end of the review.

Our Guides

Our guides aim to be the most reliable guides on the internet. We’ll hold your hand through any content that you’re struggling on and provide you with enough detail so you never get lost. Should You Play will feature walkthroughs, beginner’s tips, locations, puzzle solutions, and pretty much anything you can think of!

That is, except for one thing meta. Meta guides are articles that tell you the best builds, loadouts, characters, etc. At Should You Play, we believe if you want to know what is the best in the current meta of your game, you should seek out the number crunchers, the professional players, or your favorite content creator. There will be moments in guides where we’ll suggest using a certain build, but we will not create guides tailored to meta.
