Johnny Yu is a guides writer who got his start as a freelancer at Polygon. During his time at Polygon, he’s covered major releases like The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree, and Baldurs Gate 3, and smaller releases like Blue Prince. After his contract at Polygon ended, he founded Should You Play in May 2025.
