As we’re approaching the halfway point of 2025, there are a plethora of major releases and enticing games to keep track of in June. With the Nintendo Switch 2 releasing, there are a large number of titles old titles releasing on the console, as well as the launch title Mario Kart World. Even if you weren’t able to get your hands on a Switch 2, there are a bunch of new games to look forward to!

Here are some of the biggest video game releases in June 2025.

Deltarune Chapters 3 and 4

Release Date — Wednesday, June 4 (PC, PS5, Switch) and Thursday, June 5 (Switch 2)

Set in a parallel universe of Undertale, Deltarune has you playing as Kris, who along with many other characters looks a bit familiar. Explore the mysteries hidden inside the Dark Worlds and continue Kris and the heroes’ journey in Deltarune Chapters 3 and 4 as you search for more Dark Fountains to seal.

Mario Kart World

Release Date Thursday, June 5 (Switch 2)

Race as your favorite Mario character or one of the many side characters in the Nintendo Switch 2’s release day title. In Mario Kart World, you can veer off the track for the first time ever and drive wherever you want! Additionally, you can compete for gold in the classic Grand Prix you know and love or in Knockout Tour, a new game mode you must avoid a bottom four finish to continue on to the next race.

The Alters

Release Date — Friday, June 13 (PC, PS5, Xbox Series X)

The Alters is a sci-fi survival game where you play as Jan, Jan, and, you guessed it, more Jans! Jan has crash landed on a desolate planet, and in hopes of increasing his odds of survival, has created multiple versions of himself to make up his crew. Each alternate version of Jan comes with its own skill set and personality, which will allow you to perform a variety of tasks in your mobile base and make your time a little more pleasant.

Date Everything

Release Date Tuesday, June 17 (PC, PS5, Switch, Xbox Series X)

Date Everything is a dating simulator where you can date anything in your own house —  and I mean anything! Choose between 100 fully voice acted items and characters to build a budding romance with in this quirky and whimsical visual novel.

FBC: Firebreak

Release Date Tuesday, June 17 (PC, PS5, Xbox Series X)

FBC: Firebreak takes place a few years after the events of Control and has you facing off against a few familiar faces.. Team up with two other Firebreakers in Remedy Entertainment’s first multiplayer game and plunge straight into the haunting and wacky Federal Bureau of Control in this cooperative first-person shooter.

Rematch

Release Date Thursday, June 19 (PC, PS5, Xbox Series X)

Rematch, made by Sifu developers Sloclap, is an arcade soccer/football game that is equally satisfying to play and look at. Bring out your inner Ronaldinho as you gain complete control over the ball allowing you to pull of tricks that, well, you could only do in a video game. In this arena, there are no fouls, no offsides, and no out-of-bounds, so bring out your best tricks to pull off a victory.

Death Stranding 2: On The Beach

Release Date Thursday, June 26 (PS5)

Death Stranding 2: On The Beach follows in the steps of its predecessor as you need to navigate wild terrain and survive harsh environments to deliver your packages, but this time, you’ll be crossing the lands of Australia and Mexico. In Death Stranding 2, you’ll encounter more enemies than ever before, making your journey a little more bumpy.

Persona 5: The Phantom X

Release Date  Thursday, June 26 (Mobile, PC)

Persona 5: The Phantom X takes the Persona gameplay you know and love and brings it straight to your mobile device as a gacha game. Build relationships with other characters, enter the Metaverse, and indulge in the turn-based combat. However, in Persona 5: The Phantom X, you’ll need to manage your stamina to complete activities, rather than the usual Calendar system.
