Rainbow Road is known to be one of the most symbolic race tracks in the world, and experiencing each iteration of Rainbow Road for the first time is always an incredible experience. Mario Kart World‘s version is as colorful and whimsical as ever, but just how do you unlock the track?

How to unlock Rainbow Road in Mario Kart World
To unlock Rainbow Road in Mario Kart World, you need to complete every cup in Grand Prix. There are no other prerequisites — you don’t need to three-star each cup, race at a certain CC, or anything of the sorts.
After you finish the seven default cups, you’ll unlock the Special Cup, which features Rainbow Road as its final track. With that done, you’ll unlock Rainbow Road in VS Race mode and Time Trials as well! However, you won’t be able to visit Rainbow Road in Free Roam.
